Booked a cabin with central heating, multi-channel TV, and a microwave. It was based in new building in an amazing and great location, away from the valley. The staff was incredibly nice and great, always there to help.

I really liked staying here. My room had a big flat-screen TV with lots of channels, heat in all the rooms, and even a microwave. the fact that this place is tucked away in a quiet spot was a huge bonus. 🌲

Wonderful setting, helpful and friendly staff.
Location short walk to the lake and grass, and the pier. Also, away from the valley.

Lakeside Retreat: Our stay at this beautiful resort near Rainbow Lake was truly a breath of fresh air. Surrounded by stunning natural beauty, we felt like we had escaped to our own private oasis.
Limited Lake Access: Unfortunately, due to private homes surrounding the resort, access to Rainbow Lake was limited. We were disappointed that we couldn't fully enjoy the fishing experience we had hoped for.

We had a blast exploring all the cool activities in the area. We went hiking, horseback riding, and even played some mini-golf and go-carts. The row boats for rent at Rainbow Lake were the bomb, dude! We spent hours cruising around and fishing. It was so much fun and definitely a highlight of our trip. Plus, the golf courses nearby were perfect for some friendly competition. We couldn't get enough of all the excitement!
The only thing that could have made our trip even better would be if Lazy Oaks Resort had a pool. I mean, imagine chilling by the poolside with our crew, sipping on some drinks, and soaking up the sun.

Our favorite, brand-new hotel in Pinetop-Lakeside with exceptionally nice and great staff. Beautiful location in a fairly nice area next to the lake and grass as well as lake side. The venue of choice in Pinetop-Lakeside.

The location was fantastic, with plenty of activities nearby like hiking, horseback riding, and a fun park with miniature golf and go-carts. We enjoyed exploring the beautiful surroundings and taking in the fall colors of the White Mountains. The row boats for rent at Rainbow Lake provided a great opportunity for our children to experience boating and fishing. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. We also loved the full kitchen in our cabin, allowing us to cook meals together as a family.
For families with children, my kids wished there were more fun amenities like a playground or a swimming pool.

I absolutely loved the cozy and charming decor of the cabins at Lazy Oaks Resort. The vintage furniture and rustic touches created a warm and inviting atmosphere. The common areas were beautifully maintained, and I felt comfortable moving around and exploring the property. As a senior woman, I appreciate when a hotel takes accessibility into consideration, and Lazy Oaks Resort did just that. The paths were well-maintained, making it easy for me to navigate with my walking cane. I was able to enjoy the beautiful surroundings without any difficulty.
If I had to ask for one thing to make the vacation even better for senior people, it would be to have grab bars installed in the bathrooms. As much as I enjoyed my stay, I couldn't help but feel a bit uneasy without those extra safety measures.

The two bedroom cabin at Lazy Oaks Resort was absolutely perfect for our family! The full kitchen allowed us to cook meals and save money, while the living room with the cozy fireplace made us feel right at home. The outside deck and charcoal grill were great for enjoying the beautiful surroundings. And the private entrance and en suite bathrooms in each room provided the perfect amount of privacy. we felt so comfortable and relaxed during our stay.
Personally, we found the flat-screen cable TV with DVD player to be a bit outdated.

The location was on point, with so many sick outdoor activities to choose from. We hiked, went horseback riding, and even hit up this rad fun park with go-carts and miniature golf. Plus, we had a blast rowing boats on Rainbow Lake and catching some gnarly fish. And let's not forget about the golf courses nearby - perfect for some friendly competition with the crew. Lazy Oaks had it all!
Honestly, the only thing we missed was a sick party scene. Don't get us wrong, we had a blast exploring the outdoors and enjoying the chill vibes, but a little more nightlife would have taken our experience to the next level.

Lazy Oaks had everything we needed for an awesome vacation with friends. We were stoked to be so close to the lake and have access to row boats. We spent hours out on the water, fishing and having a blast. When we weren't on the lake, we hit up the nearby hiking areas and even tried our hand at canoeing. It was non-stop adventure and we loved every minute of it!
The only thing we wished for was more nightlife options. Don't get me wrong, we had a great time during the day, but as young party-goers, we were hoping for a bit more in terms of evening entertainment.

Immersed in the stunning White Mountains, this cabin resort offers a cozy home away from home. The cabins, ranging from one to two bedrooms, provide ample space for relaxation and convenience. I stayed in the Ponderosa cabin, and it felt like a slice of solitude nestled amongst the pines. The full kitchen allowed me to channel my inner gourmet chef, whipping up meals with ease. After a day of exploring the surrounding nature, I cozied up by the fireplace, feeling like a bear in its winter den. The flat-screen TV and DVD player also proved to be a welcomed touch for some evening entertainment. Lazy Oaks Resort provided a memorable stay amidst breathtaking scenery.
Bathroom needs minor renovations.
